Forms — Findit Framer
Findit has four forms: the newsletter in the footer, Contact (on /contact), Schedule a tour on every property page, and Add property (on /add-property). All four are Framer forms: they validate, show a sending state and a confirmation without any code. None of them has a destination when you copy the template — until you choose one, submissions go nowhere. You choose where they go.
Choose where submissions go
Section titled “Choose where submissions go”- Select the form on the canvas: click one of its fields, then press
Shift + Enteruntil the right panel shows Form (or pick the layer named Form in the Layers tab). - In the right panel → Form, find Send to and click Add….
- Pick a destination:
| Destination | What happens |
|---|---|
| Each submission is emailed to the address you enter | |
| Webhook | Each submission is posted as JSON to a URL — Zapier, Make, n8n, your CRM, your own server |
| Google Sheets | Each submission becomes a row — connect your Google account first in Settings → Forms |
You can add more than one destination. Framer’s guide to webhooks: Connect Framer forms to a webhook.
Do this for all four forms, each in one place:
| Form | Where it lives |
|---|---|
| Contact | The /contact page |
| Schedule a tour | The Property page (Layers: Main → Sidebar → Tour → Form) — one form for every property |
| Add property | The /add-property page |
| Newsletter | The Footer component (Assets → Components → Project → Section → Footer, layer Form) — one form for every page |
The other settings of a form stay as they are: Redirect sends a visitor to the thank-you page after the tour form (/success/scheduled) and the “Add property” form (/success/add-property); Antispam is set to Basic.
The fields
Section titled “The fields”| Form | Fields |
|---|---|
| Contact | Name, email, phone (all three required), message |
| Schedule a tour | Property ID and property name (filled in from the property), name, email, phone (required), message |
| Add property | Personal information (name, email, phone); the property (name, description, location, category, for sale or rent, price, duration); features; details (size, bedrooms, bathrooms, floor, additional space, furnishing, ceiling height, construction year, renovation); utilities (heating, air condition, fireplace, elevator, ventilation, intercom, window type, cable TV, Wi-Fi); a message |
| Newsletter |
Each field has a name in the right panel — that is the key your email, webhook or sheet receives. Rename a field’s label freely; change its name only if you also update where the data goes. A tour request arrives with the property it is about, so you can tell which listing the visitor wants to see. The choices in the “Add property” form (location, category, for sale or rent) are regular form options: update them to match yours.
Test it
Section titled “Test it”Publish, then submit each form on the live site with a real address and check that it arrived at every destination you added. Test on the published site rather than in the editor preview, so you see exactly what visitors get.
Privacy
Section titled “Privacy”Submissions go only to the destinations you add. Say what you do with the data — a line under the forms linking to the Privacy Policy (a demo text in the Legal collection: replace it with your own) is enough for most sites — and add a consent checkbox if you plan to email senders marketing.
