Connect Framebrick to Claude Code
Add the Framebrick MCP server (https://mcp.framebrick.co, free, no account, no key) to Claude Code. The steps follow Claude Code’s own documentation (Claude Code: MCP); we have not run Claude Code ourselves. We tested the server with the official MCP TypeScript client.
Add the server
Section titled “Add the server”claude mcp add --transport http framebrick https://mcp.framebrick.coThat keeps it to the current project, privately. Add --scope user to have it in every project, or --scope project to write it to .mcp.json so your team shares it.
Or edit .mcp.json at the project root yourself. The type is required: an entry with only a url is read as a local server and skipped.
{ "mcpServers": { "framebrick": { "type": "http", "url": "https://mcp.framebrick.co" } }}Check it
Section titled “Check it”Run claude mcp list (it shows Connected, Needs authentication or Failed to connect), claude mcp get framebrick for the details, or /mcp inside a session. The three commands appear as /mcp__framebrick__build, /mcp__framebrick__add and /mcp__framebrick__fix.
