Connect Framebrick to Cline
Add the Framebrick MCP server (https://mcp.framebrick.co, free, no account, no key) to Cline. The steps follow Cline’s own documentation (Cline: configuring MCP servers); we have not run Cline ourselves. We tested the server with the official MCP TypeScript client.
Add the server
Section titled “Add the server”Click the MCP Servers icon in Cline’s toolbar, open the Remote Servers tab, enter a name and the server URL and set the transport type to Streamable HTTP. Or open the Configure tab, choose Configure MCP Servers and edit cline_mcp_settings.json:
{ "mcpServers": { "framebrick": { "type": "streamableHttp", "url": "https://mcp.framebrick.co", "disabled": false, "autoApprove": [] } }}Write the type exactly as streamableHttp: without it Cline falls back to the older SSE transport.
Check it
Section titled “Check it”The server’s tools appear in Cline’s list of available tools; ask for one to test it. If it does not connect, check that the transport is Streamable HTTP and not SSE.
- Add the registry to your project’s
components.jsonso the install commands resolve: see the MCP server page. - Install the Agent Skills:
