Connect Framebrick to Grok CLI
Add the Framebrick MCP server (https://mcp.framebrick.co, free, no account, no key) to Grok CLI. The steps follow Grok CLI’s own documentation (Grok Build: MCP servers); we have not run Grok CLI ourselves. We tested the server with the official MCP TypeScript client.
Add the server
Section titled “Add the server”grok mcp add --transport http framebrick https://mcp.framebrick.coThis writes ~/.grok/config.toml. Add --scope project to write .grok/config.toml in the current folder instead. By hand:
[mcp_servers.framebrick]url = "https://mcp.framebrick.co"The server needs no headers or sign-in. Its tools show up with the prefix framebrick__.
Check it
Section titled “Check it”grok mcp list, grok mcp doctor framebrick, or /mcps in the terminal interface.
- Add the registry to your project’s
components.jsonso the install commands resolve: see the MCP server page. - Install the Agent Skills:
curl -fsSL https://framebrick.co/install | node -. - Ask in plain language: “Plan a landing page for a branding studio from Framebrick blocks.”
