CMS collections
Lists that grow over time — blog posts, projects, services, team members, jobs, testimonials — live in the CMS, not on the pages. The pages show them through collection lists (the blog grid, the projects slider) and CMS pages (one page per post or project). Change an item once and every list and page that shows it updates.
How it’s organised
Section titled “How it’s organised”- A collection is one list: Blog, Projects, Services.
- An item is one entry: one post, one project.
- Fields are what every item has: a title, a slug (its web address), a cover image, a date, the body text.
Edit an item
Section titled “Edit an item”Open CMS, pick the collection, and click an item. Change its fields — the preview on the canvas updates as you
type. The slug becomes the item’s address (/blog/your-post-title); keep it short, lowercase, with hyphens.
Add an item
Section titled “Add an item”In the collection, click + to add a new item and fill in its fields. The quickest start: duplicate an item that looks like what you need and change it. New items appear in every list that shows the collection, in the order the list is sorted by (often the date).
Remove the demo content
Section titled “Remove the demo content”Delete the demo items you don’t need, but keep at least one in each collection while you design, so the lists and CMS pages still show something. If you don’t need a whole collection, remove the sections that show it first, then the collection.
Change the fields
Section titled “Change the fields”Edit Fields in a collection adds, renames or removes fields — for example a Client field on projects. A new field only shows on the site once you connect it to a layer on the page (select the layer and choose the field in the right panel).
