Questions and answers — Ciketo Framer
Answers to what buyers of Ciketo for Framer ask most, from plans and breakpoints to the CMS and the forms, then the demo text to replace before you publish.
Is Ciketo for Framer really free? Yes. Copy it, build your site with it and publish it. What you may do with the template itself is set by the terms on the page where you got it (Framer Marketplace or framebrick.co). In short: use it for your sites, don’t resell the template.
Do I need a paid Framer plan?
No, to build and publish on a free framer.website address. Yes, for a custom domain: Ciketo has six CMS collections,
so it needs a Framer site plan that includes six. See Which Framer plan do you need?.
My change on Desktop didn’t appear on Phone. The Phone breakpoint has its own value for that property. Select the layer on Phone and reset the override, or make the change there too (Getting started).
A new CMS item doesn’t show on the site. Its Status is Draft, or the site hasn’t been published since. Set it to Live and publish.
A service page shows the wrong lanes, or none. They are references: pick them in the service’s Lane field in the CMS. A lane set to Draft doesn’t show.
The “New Lane” or “Enterprise accounts” card in the Home hero shows the wrong item. They read the top of their tables: the first lane of Lane, the first four clients of Client. Drag the ones you want to the top.
The menu marks the wrong page, or none. Each page sets the current menu item itself, in its template’s properties (Getting started). Select the page and set its item to Active. The pages of a service, a post or a legal text mark none, as in the demo.
The header is hard to read on a new page, or sits above its photo. Set the page’s Layout in its template’s properties: Primary for a page that opens with a full-width photo (the header lies over it), Secondary for every other page.
On Home, the header turns transparent again when I scroll up. That’s how the template is built on Home, Contact and 404: the header turns solid as you scroll down, and transparent as soon as you scroll up, also in the middle of the page, where its white clock is hard to see over light sections. The Next.js, Astro and HTML editions keep it transparent only at the very top.
The clock in the header doesn’t show our office’s time. It’s Framer’s Time & Date component: it shows each visitor’s own local time and date, read from their device. It sits in the header on desktops and in the phone menu on phones.
The Blog shows only six posts. That’s on purpose: six more appear each time the visitor scrolls down to the loading ring, until every post is shown.
The testimonials don’t change on a tablet or a phone. A bug in the template: on tablets and phones, choosing another portrait resizes the portraits, but the quote stays on the first client. On desktops it works. In Section/Testimonials, each variant (Desktop, Tablet and Phone, 01 to 04) stands for one chosen client, and only the Desktop ones show that client’s quote: make each Tablet and Phone variant show its own client’s quote too.
The forms don’t send anything. They have no destination yet, or the site wasn’t published after adding one. Add one under Send to in both forms (Forms), publish, and test on the live site.
Submissions have fields called “Location” and “Newsletter”. They are the shipping method and the consent checkbox. Rename them in both forms (Forms).
Framer says a component has an update. Components from Framer (in Assets → Components → Framer: Spinner, Time & Date) are updated by Framer from time to time. Updating is usually safe; check the pages that use them afterwards.
Can I get the design as code? Yes: the same design is available as Next.js, Astro and HTML templates. See https://framebrick.co/docs/ciketo/.
Where do the photos and the client logos come from? The photos are from Unsplash, and the client logos are made-up samples. They are fine to keep while you build. Replace them with your own before you publish, so the site shows your work and your clients.
Demo text to replace
Section titled “Demo text to replace”The demo copy has a few leftovers. Replace them with your own text before you publish (search the CMS and the pages):
- The company name “Logistics Company”: in the footer’s copyright line (“© 2026 Logistics Company”) and in the three legal texts.
- E-mails on domains the template doesn’t own:
hello@logisticscompany.com(footer and Contact page) andsupport@ciketo.com(the help card beside the services on Home). Mail sent to them doesn’t reach you. - One title and description for every page, and legal pages titled “Privacy Policy - My Framer Site” and so on (Going live).
- Wrong links:
- the footer’s “Cookie Policy” opens the privacy policy: point it to
/legal/cookie-policy; - “Call Customer Service” (the call to action) opens cal.com: point it to your phone (
tel:and your number) or your own booking page.
- the footer’s “Cookie Policy” opens the privacy policy: point it to
- Phone links keep the spaces and brackets of the number (
tel:+1 (800) 555-0147). Most phones dial them anyway, buttel:+18005550147is safer. - The FAQ: the answer to “Can you help with customs clearance?” repeats the transit-time answer of the question above it. Write the real answer.
- The client “Klin”: its logo reads Kiln & Co. Rename it, or replace the sample clients with yours.
- A post out of order: “The Growing Role of Technology in Logistics” is dated Aug 16, 2026 but sits among the July posts, because the lists follow the order of the table, not the date. Change its date or its place in the table.
- Two labels: “Logistic Insights” above the posts on Home and the Blog page, and “Other Post” under each article, read better as “Logistics Insights” and “Other Posts”.
- The form placeholders:
jane@framer.comin the e-mail field and “Enter shipment weight” in the date field (Forms). - The copyright year in the footer is typed: update it each year.
