The CMS — Ciketo Framer

In Ciketo, services, trade lanes, clients, testimonials, posts and legal texts live in Framer’s CMS: add an item, and every list and page that shows it updates.

The general guide is Edit the CMS; this page covers Ciketo’s collections. Open the CMS from the top-left menu → CMS (Alt + 2). The left panel lists the collections; the Fields tab shows the fields of the selected collection.

Lane 6 The lanes on each service page (the ones the service picks) and the “New Lane” card in the Home hero (the first lane)
Services 6 /services, one page per service, and the services accordion on Home
Testimonial 4 The testimonials on Home: a visitor chooses a portrait to read its quote
Blog 12 /blog, one page per post, the three posts on Home and “Other Post” under each article
Legal 3 One page per legal text (/legal/<slug>), linked from the footer

  1. Select Services, then + (top left of the table).
  2. Fill in the fields. The Slug becomes the address: lower case, words joined by -, no brackets.
  3. Add the image, the introduction with its four figures, and the four benefits. Pick the service’s lanes in Lane; add a missing lane to the Lane collection first.
  4. Set the Status to Live and publish the site.

The service gets its own page and a line in the sitemap. Then check these places:

  • /services lists every service by itself, numbered in table order;
  • The accordion on Home shows exactly six: the Part/Service component holds six cards, Service 01 to Service 06, and each is a collection list of one item (Start at 0, 1, 2… Limit to 1), with its number (“01”…) typed in the card. A seventh service doesn’t appear there; showing it means a seventh card (Start at 6) in every variant of Part/Service and a variant in which that card is open. With fewer than six services, delete the cards you don’t need;
  • the footer’s Services column: its links (Ocean Freight, Air Freight, Road Freight, All Services) are typed into Section/Footer; change them if your services change;
  • the shipping methods of the forms: Ocean Freight, Air Freight, Road Freight and Multimodal are typed into each form (Forms).

Adding a lane, client, testimonial, post or legal text

Section titled “Adding a lane, client, testimonial, post or legal text”
  • Lane: a title, the two ports, the transit time, the average, the frequency and a photo. Then pick it in the Lane field of every service that runs it. The first lane of the table is the “New Lane” card in the Home hero.
  • Client: a name and a logo. It joins the logo ticker on Home and About; the hero’s “Enterprise accounts” card names the first four clients of the table.
  • Testimonial: a name, a title, a company, a portrait, the rating, the heading and the quote. The section on Home is laid out for four portraits: check it on all three breakpoints after adding or removing one.
  • Blog post: as above, with an image, a category and an excerpt. Home shows the first three posts; “Other Post” shows up to three of the same category.
  • Legal text: a title, a slug, the date and the text. Its page appears by itself; link it from the footer (Section/Footer), where the legal links are typed.

The pages of the services, the posts and the legal texts each use one design: their CMS page in Pages. Change that design once and every item follows.

Category (Blog) is an option field: open the field in Fields to add, rename or remove an option. Renaming an option renames it on every item. Rating (Testimonial) is an option field too: pick each client’s rating from it.

The rest is regular content on the pages and in the components. Select the text or image on the canvas and edit it:

  • the Home hero: its title, text, the “98.5% on time” tag, the booking note and the figures (the client names and the lane come from the CMS);
  • “Why Choose Us” on Home and “Who we are” on About, each with four figures typed on its page;
  • the help card beside the services on Home: the photo, the phone, the e-mail and the person;
  • the FAQ on Home: each question and its answer are set on its own card;
  • the photo beside the key benefits on the service pages, the same for every service;
  • the About page’s title and the leader’s message;
  • the Contact page: the title, the address, phone, e-mail and business hours;
  • the components: “How it works” (Section/How it Work, with the steps in Part/Step), the industries (Section/Industries), the call to action (Section/CTA), the quote form (Section/Qoutes) and the footer (Section/Footer).
