Going live — Ciketo Framer
What to do before and after you publish Ciketo: titles, descriptions and images, a free Framer address or your own domain, and the checks once it is live.
The steps that are the same for every Framer template are in the Framer guides and Title, description and share image.
Before you publish
Section titled “Before you publish”Open the top-left menu → Settings (Alt + 5).
| Where | What to change |
|---|---|
| General → Title, Description | Your site’s name and one-sentence description. The template ships with “Ciketo — Framer Template for Global Logistics & Shipping” and a description that calls the site a Framer template: replace both. |
| General → Accessibility | Turn it on, so visitors who prefer reduced motion get a calm site (Making it look like your brand) |
| General → favicon and social image | Your favicon (with a dark-mode version if you like), the social image shown when someone shares a link (1200 × 630) and the Apple touch icon (180 × 180). The template’s are Ciketo’s. |
| Page Settings → each page | A title and description of its own. Every page of the template shows the same title and description, so search results show the same text for all of them, and the legal pages are titled “Privacy Policy - My Framer Site” and so on. Write one per page. For the CMS pages, connect the fields so every item gets its own: Service Name and Short Description for a service, Post Title and Excerpt for a post, Title for a legal text. |
Then go through the content:
- Demo text: the company name “Logistics Company” (the footer’s copyright line and the three legal texts), and the leftovers listed in Questions and answers.
- E-mails:
hello@logisticscompany.com(footer, Contact) andsupport@ciketo.com(the help card beside the services on Home) are on domains the template doesn’t own. Replace every one with yours. - Contact details: the address, the phone number and the e-mail in the footer and on the Contact page, the business hours, the phone and e-mail of the help card on Home, the copyright line in the footer (its year is typed: update it), and the social links.
- Links: “Call Customer Service” in the call to action opens cal.com, and the footer’s “Cookie Policy” opens the
privacy policy. Point the first to your phone number (
tel:) or your own booking page, the second to/legal/cookie-policy. - Photos and logos: the demo uses photos from Unsplash and made-up client logos. Replace them with your own, in the pages, in the components and in the CMS.
- Your own content: the services, lanes, clients, testimonials, posts and legal texts (The CMS), and the FAQ, the steps, the industries and the About page.
- The forms send somewhere, require an e-mail and show your own placeholders (Forms).
- The 404 page.
Publish
Section titled “Publish”Click Publish (top right). The first time, Framer gives the site a free address (<name>.framer.website); every
later click updates it. Your site is live with HTTPS immediately. Until the site has a paid Framer site plan, Framer adds
a small “Made in Framer” badge.
Your own domain
Section titled “Your own domain”A custom domain needs a paid Framer site plan, and Ciketo needs one that includes six CMS collections (which plan?). Then add the domain in the site’s settings and follow the DNS instructions for your registrar (step by step). Framer issues the certificate for you.
After it is live
Section titled “After it is live”- Check every page on a phone and a laptop:
- the menu, and the phone menu;
- the services accordion, the steps, the testimonials and the FAQ on Home;
- the blog loading more posts as you scroll;
- both forms.
- Send yourself a test submission from each form.
- Check the share card: paste your address into a chat or https://www.opengraph.xyz.
- Tell Google: add the site to Search Console and submit
https://yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml. Framer generates the sitemap. - Analytics: Framer’s own analytics are under the top-left menu → Analytics. Other tools can be added as custom code in Settings.
Keep it moving
Section titled “Keep it moving”A new service, lane or post is a CMS item (The CMS): add one, set it Live, publish. Take one off the site by setting it to Draft.
