Props
| Prop | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| title | string | "What we do" | What the band says to a screen reader: a visually hidden h2. |
| items | string[] | six services | The words, in the order they run; a dot sits after each. |
| size | "large" | "display" | "large" | How big the words are: large is the h2 size, display the largest size of the theme. |
| direction | "left" | "right" | "left" | Which way the words run. |
| speed | number | 60 | Pixels per second, so the pace is the same whatever the words. |
| pauseOnHover | boolean | true | Glide to a stop while the pointer is on the band. |
| className | string | — | Classes for the <section>. |
- The words are read once: the first copy is a list, the copies that fill the loop on a wide screen are aria-hidden. The band's h2 is visually hidden.
- Motion is Marquee's: a steady speed in px per second, a glide to a stop on hover, faded edges; it stands still with reduced motion.
- Edge to edge: the band has no container, so the words run under the page's side padding.
