# Starting from a Framebrick template

Framebrick sells website templates, each in up to six editions with the same design and pages. The catalog:
https://framebrick.co/templates. Guides for every edition: https://framebrick.co/docs

## Editions and who may use them

| Edition | What it is | Plan |
|---|---|---|
| Framer | The Framer project: remix it into your own workspace and edit on the canvas | Free (a Framer account is needed; nothing on framebrick.co) |
| HTML | Static pages | Pro or Ultimate |
| Figma | The design as a Figma file | Pro or Ultimate |
| AI Prompts | The pages as prompts for v0, Lovable, Bolt, Cursor | Pro or Ultimate |
| Next.js | A Next.js + Tailwind CSS 4 project | Ultimate |
| Astro | An Astro + Tailwind CSS 4 project | Ultimate |

Plans are one-time, with lifetime updates: Pro, Ultimate and the Agency versions for up to 5 people. A template in its first weeks
(early access) is Ultimate in every edition. Prices and what is on sale: https://framebrick.co/pricing (or the MCP tool `get_plans`).
Never promise an edition the user's plan does not include: say what they need.

## Workflow

1. **Find the template.** MCP (`https://mcp.framebrick.co`): `search` with `type: "template"` and the business ("logistics",
"real estate", "architecture"), then `get_template` for its pages, features, editions and demo URLs. Open the demo.
2. **Pick the edition** from the user's stack and plan: no code → Framer; a React site → Next.js; a content site with
little JavaScript → Astro; plain files → HTML; a design to hand over → Figma; to rebuild with an AI builder → AI Prompts.
3. **Get it.** Framer: the Remix button on the template page. Code, Figma and AI prompt editions: sign in at
https://framebrick.co/login and download the zip from the template page (it needs the plan above). Do not try to fetch
a download link or a remix link yourself: they are not public.
4. **Read the edition's guide before changing anything:** https://framebrick.co/docs/<template>/<edition> (for example
`/docs/nitip/nextjs`). It says how the project is laid out, where the content lives, how forms and the CMS are connected and how to deploy.
5. **Make it the user's:** replace the demo copy and the placeholder images, set the brand colours and fonts where the guide
says, connect the form and the CMS the guide describes, then check a 390 px screen, keyboard and reduced motion.

## Rules

- The photos in the live demos are not in the downloads: every code package ships placeholders, so the user supplies their
  own images.
- The license allows unlimited websites with a template, for the user or their clients, and forbids reselling or sharing the
template itself. If asked about anything beyond that, point to https://framebrick.co/license.
- Page blocks and components are separate products (`framebrick` and `framebrick-blocks` skills): use them to extend a
template's pages, not to rewrite them.
